LifeBridge has launched its Suitability Scoring Service, designed to help insurers and annuity carriers meet NAIC Model 275 best-interest requirements, without slowing down distribution or adding operational friction.
With 49 U.S. states now adopting the NAIC best-interest standard, suitability expectations have shifted materially. Carriers are no longer expected to simply show that a recommendation was suitable. They must demonstrate a reasonable basis for every recommendation, ensure consistency across channels, and maintain clear documentation that can stand up to regulatory review.
